I receive DMs daily from many sports photographers asking for my advice on what and how to charge. The answer to what to charge is always personal because many factors play a part.

This calculator aims to give you a complete breakdown of your costs and then a fee you need to charge to cover them. The option to make a profit has also been included.

Two versions of the calculator are included:

1. for the hobbyist wanting to charge a fee to cover equipment costs
2. for those wanting to make a living from their photography

Should you wish to discuss your pricing in detail with someone who has been there, done it, and learnt the mistakes along the way. There is the option to have a call with me.
